You’ve done this before. 🎬
A reel blows up on your feed. The audio is everywhere. You think, okay, I should do that one.
So you make it. You post it. And it just… sits there.
Here’s the thing. The trend wasn’t wrong. It just needed a translator.
Why Copying Falls Flat
That audio probably took off because a makeup creator or a food account used it perfectly.
Their version made sense. Yours, posted straight across with no changes, reads a little off. And your audience feels that even if they can’t name it.
Instead of asking whether something is trending.
Start asking what the aesthetics version looks like.
This Is What Translation Looks Like
Take a dating trend going around. The aesthetics version becomes:
“Cute date idea: your boyfriend drops you off at your tox appointment and pays the bill.”
Same audio. Same format. Suddenly it’s yours, and your clients are tagging each other in the comments.
Or a Halloween trend turns into “Ghost your wrinkles, not your injector.”
That’s it. That’s the whole skill. The structure stays, the content becomes you.

Run Every Trend Through These Three Filters
Before you spend twenty minutes filming, check:
Does it fit your specialty? A goofy trend plays differently for an injector than a plastic surgeon. Both can be fun. They just do it differently.
Does it fit your brand? If your whole account is calm and clinical, a chaotic trend will feel like someone hijacked your page.
Will it still make sense next week? Some audios are dead in four days. Those aren’t worth your time.

Here’s Your Permission Slip
You don’t have to do all of them.
Honestly? Most trends aren’t worth it. Skipping one costs you absolutely nothing, and chasing every single one is how people burn out by November.
Showing up consistently beats trend chasing every time.

Try One Translation This Week
Pick a trend you’ve seen three times already.
Write down its structure in one sentence. Then ask yourself what the aesthetics version would be.
That’s it. You just became a translator.
And if you’d rather skip the research entirely, the vaults come with trend ideas already translated for your specialty. Or test the waters with our free templates.
